Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data Certifone (info@certifone.com) collects and how it is used, including when stores use the inbox, the AI agent and connected AI apps. Certifone is a product of Replexity Solutions, which operates the service and is responsible for your data.
01Data we collect
We collect the account holder's name, email address and phone number; the store and order data needed to confirm and ship orders; the messages customers exchange with a store on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and Telegram, including voice notes, images and files; customer voice notes recorded during confirmation calls (stored for the store and transcribed by a speech-to-text provider); and basic usage and device information.
02Payments
Card payments are processed entirely by Paymob. Certifone never sees, receives or stores your card number, CVV or PIN. We store only a payment reference and the amount.
03How we use data
We use data to provide the order-confirmation service, to process top-up payments, to support you, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell your data.
04Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts
When a store connects its Facebook Page and the Instagram professional account linked to it, Certifone receives the messages and comments sent to those accounts, the sender's public name and profile picture, and the access needed to reply on the store's behalf. We use this data only to show these conversations in the store's inbox, to let the store's team and its AI agent reply, and to record orders a customer places. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. A store can disconnect a Page or Instagram account at any time from Channels in its dashboard, which stops our access. To have stored data deleted, follow the steps on our data deletion page (certifone.com/data-deletion).
05Sharing
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: Paymob for payments; the messaging and voice providers that deliver messages and calls; and AI model providers that write the AI agent's replies when a store turns it on. We also share data where required by law.
06AI apps a store connects (MCP)
A store owner or manager can connect an AI app, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to their store through Certifone's MCP server. Access is read-only and limited to that store. Before data reaches the AI app, customer phone numbers and email addresses are masked. Every read is logged, and the store can disconnect the app at any time. The AI app's own provider handles that data under its own terms.
07Retention & your rights
We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing info@certifone.com.
08Data sources
To read delivery addresses across the Middle East and North Africa we use public lists of regions and districts. Egypt's district names: Source: CAPMAS, via OCHA/HDX COD-AB (Egypt subnational administrative boundaries), licensed under CC BY-IGO. Region names and codes: Google address data (libaddressinput, © Google LLC, CC BY 4.0) and Unicode CLDR (Unicode License V3). Everyday area names in Egypt: the open-source egydata, egypt-governorates-and-cities-db and egypt-geo-data projects (MIT).
